Build Your List - Opt-in Form

 
Collect email addresses on your Website!

You can’t take advantage of the low cost, fast delivery, and short response times available with email unless you have an email list of your contacts. Therefore, it is essential that you have a plan to build your email list. Igenti can help you do this. We begin by providing you with an "opt-in" email collection form for your website. With this, your contacts can go to your website and enter their own email address. We will also provide guidance on what you can do within your organization to collect email addresses from your contacts through other methods.

 The Igenti-Opt-in form is a great way to get started! The form can be customized with colors to match your website and data fields to collect the information you want.

You can provide a list of contacts to us by: 1) entering your contact information in the online opt-in form; 2) having your contacts enter their information in the online opt-in form; or 3) by sending us a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Use the worksheet to list the email address and first name of each of your contacts, one per row. Include other information such as last name, address, phone, etc. if you wish. Then, email the worksheet to us and we will deliver your message to the list.

Your customers want to hear from you!

Organizations that provide great customer service are those that communicate with their customers or members. Your customers/members actually want to hear from you (assuming that your communications are not always trying to sell something). If you develop a program to deliver pertinent information to your contacts, they will be more likely to do business with you again. The lack of communication often results in the loss of a relationship.

You can choose to communicate by postal mail, telephone, fax, personal visit, or email. Email provides many advantages. It is by far the least expensive and it’s the least intrusive. It is certainly the fastest to deliver and the easiest for the recipient to use when submitting a response. Having a communication strategy that isn’t always focused on selling something is the key.

Customer profile updates - online!

Igenti-Opt-in also provides a system to let your customers update their profile information online through your website. A report is available to let you know who updated their account information so you can update your master database.

How it works!

We have a small instruction set that we email to your webmaster to install on your website. The installation process typically takes only 5 minutes. That's it! You are then ready to start using your website to collect email addresses from your customers, members, prospects, job applicants, vendors, etc. The contact information entered is automatically saved in your database that we maintain for you.

We also provide sample copy that you can use for paper email collection methods. For example, you should have customers complete an email collection card when they visit. You may also wish to mail such a card to them or collect the information verbally. The opt-in form installed on your website can also be used by you to enter email addresses that collected from your contacts through paper or verbal methods.

With the online system linked from your website, your contacts can then return later to update their profile information. No passwords are needed. They only need to enter their email address and click submit. The system will check to see if the email address was entered earlier, and if so, will send them an email to permit them to update their profile.

As part of the service, we provide you with a report of contacts in the list and a copy of the list for backup purposes (one per month when requested). You may also access the list online at anytime.
